3.2.1 Session cookies
Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your computer by your browser. These cookies process certain specific information about you, such as your browser, location data, or IP address.
This processing makes this website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, allowing me, for example, to display my website in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies are used to collect data to initiate or process contractual relationships.
If the processing does not serve to initiate or process a contract, my legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of this website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
When you close your browser, these session cookies are deleted.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
You may revoke your prior consent to receive this newsletter under Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR with future effect. All you have to do is inform us that you are revoking your consent or click on the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter.
3.3.1 Legal basis
The dispatch of the newsletter and the success measurement are made on the basis of a consent of the recipients acc. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, Art. 7 DSGVO in connection with § 7 Abs. 2 Nr. 3 UWG or on the basis of the legal permission according to Art. § 7 Abs. 3 UWG. The logging of the registration process is based on our legitimate interests in accordance with. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and serves as proof of consent to the receipt of the newsletter.
3.3.2 Double Opt-In and Logging
The registration for my newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure.
This means, you will receive an e-mail after logging in, requesting confirmation of your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that nobody can register
with external e-mail addresses. The registration for the newsletter will be logged in order to prove the registration process according to the legal requirements. This includes the storage of the login and the confirmation time, as well as the IP address. Likewise, changes to your data stored with the shipping service provider will be logged.
3.3.3 Newsletter Provider
The newsletter is distributed via MailChimp, a newsletters shipping platform owned by Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE # 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
The e-mail addresses of my newsletter recipients, as well as their other information described above, are stored on MailChimp servers in the United States (US). MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp may use this information for the purpose of optimizing or improving its own services. For example, for the technical optimization of sending and the presentation of newsletters or for economic purposes, to determine from which countries the recipients come.
3.3.4 Data Processing Agreement
3.3.5 Statistical measurements & analyzes
The newsletters contain a so-called “web-beacon”, which is a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the MailChimp server when the newsletter is opened. Accessing the newsletter will initially collect technical information. This includes information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of access. This information is used to improve the technical performance of services based on their specifications or audience and their reading habits, based on their locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times.
Statistical surveys also include information whether the newsletters will be opened, when they will be opened and which links will be clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our desire nor that of MailChimp to observe individual users. The evaluations serve me to recognize the reading habits of my users and to adapt my content to them or to send different content according to the interests of my users.
3.3.6 Online viewing and data management
There are cases when the newsletter recipients are redirected to the MailChimp websites. For example, the newsletters contain a link that enables newsletter recipients to retrieve newsletters online (for example, in the event of problems with the e-mail program). Furthermore, newsletter recipients may safe their data, for example, in case you want to correct or change your e-mail address later.
3.3.7 Termination & Revocation of your data
You can at any point cancel your subscription to my newsletter, meaning, you revoke your consent. A link to cancel the newsletter can be found at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can always send an e-mail to me on email@example.com.
After termination, your data will be deleted except for the e-mail address. The e-mail address is stored in a block list and only used to ensure that I do not send any further e-mails to your e-mail address.
If you contact me via email or the contact form, the data you provide will be used for the purpose of processing your request. I must have this data in order to process and answer your inquiry; otherwise I will not be able to answer it in full or at all.
The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once I have fully answered your inquiry and there is no further legal obligation to store your data, such as if an order or contract resulted therefrom.
3.5 User Posts & Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, the data shown in the comments form are collected. So is the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection and to guarantee safety on the site. In this case, the legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in any legal defense I may have to mount. These data will be deleted after a period of 60 days and are not handed to third parties.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service (Antispam Bee). This tool does not save any data on their servers or provide data to third parties.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). The website administrator can also see and edit that information but do not have access to your password.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. You may revoke your prior consent under Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR with future effect. All you have to do is inform me that you are revoking your consent.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
3.6.2 Browser Plug-in
In addition, you may prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
3.6.3 Opposition to Data Collection
You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link:
[ga-optout text="Disable Google Analytics"]. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent your data from being collected on future visits to this site.
By clicking on the opt-out link, a so-called “opt-out cookie” is configured, which means that the analysis of your visit to our site will be prevented in the future.
Please note that if you delete the cookies in your browser settings, this may also delete the opt-out cookie and its re-activation may become necessary.
3.6.4 Data Processing
A contract exists between Google Analytics and the author of this Site. In this contract Google obliges to, among others, only process user data according to the range of functions of Google Analytics, to delete data if the author of this Site requests it, and to take on technical and organizational steps to provide for data security.
